surgery recovery

My wife recently had a diskectomy and fusion surgery on C5-7 and also had bone spurs shaved down. We didn't think we were going to be able to able to to do the surgery because somehow her dumb AFLAC Agent screwed up and cancelled the short-term disiability policy she had by not telling her employer to take it out of her check. Now they can reinstate her but since there was a lapse in coverage and since her health is bad now, they would consider this a pre-existing condition. So we thought, that sucks she's not going to be able to afford to lose waqes to get better, and we tried to raise money though twitter, but I am a new member so it didn't work very well.

A light started to shine through THE STIMULUS CHECK! We could make it with that (husband, wife, 4 kids). It was scheduled to be deposited the day after surgery according to the gov't schedule. We wtill haven't seen it. I did some research and found out that since we did our taxes through turbo tax and had the fee taken out of our refund, the gov't doesn't actually have our bank account info. So, we will get a paper check not to be sent until June 20.

Anyways, we need help, please donate as much as you can so she can stay home from work for awhile and get better. I would ask for $5, but we are in a greater need, we need people to dig deeper.

she's on so many drugs that she can't poop or urinate. So I'm giving her enema's, stool softeners and straight catheter's at home. (they had to teach me to do that, I'm just a maintenance man, it's kinda scary for me.)
